Access to girls' education in remote rural belts in several blocks of Hazaribag district is still a big challenge before all of us. And, the families and communities mind set towards girls education is not encouraging also. Stri Shakti in association with Action Village India (U.K.) and Tzedek has launched initiatives to provide access to quality education to girls with an objective to install confidence in them and creep up their literacy levels. The organization sponsors the high school education (Class VI-X) to educate girls who were either drop-out and/or their family could not afford their education further. The organization not only sponsors the girls but discusses the importance of education with their family, caretakers to promote girls education.

Organization firmly believes that girls' education is the key to enhance the empowerment process and diminish the levels of poverty. It is also proven fact that if a girl is educated , whole family is educated.
